Asthma – Do you have trouble breathing?

What is asthma?
Asthma is for “image” in Greek. The person who is an asthma attack usually has pants or feel exhausted.
It is an allergic disease, characterized by:
- Flow resistance in the airways, which varies in intensity over a short period of time.
- Inflammation of the airways, the bronchial tubes are swollen and red.
- Increased sensitivity to a variety of stimuli.
At any other time, if the person is not suffering from a asthma attack, her breathing is normal.
Signs and symptoms
Cough, which may be either dry or productive
The mucous glands lining the airways begin to produce mucus, which then blocked the airways. The nerves in the walls of the airways are irritated, to cause the mucus, such as spitting spit. This is called a productive cough.
A dry cough, which is not accompanied by the dampness of a cramp, which is involuntary, caused severe contraction of bronchial muscles.
Breathlessness

Wheeze
Wheezing is a whistling noise caused by air forced through the narrowed airways. Wheezing may occur unexpectedly and can become worse in the early morning or evening.
Painless tightness in the chest

- The symptoms persist or worsen, with enough drugs

Hazardous Signs
- Feeling tired and exhausted
- Sleep is disturbed
- Difficulty in breathing is clearly visible, especially during the rest
- Feeling very confused, anxious, worried and sleepy
- The inability to speak (a word only)
- Cyanosis (lips and face is blue or blue-violet)
- Asthma is growing rapidly, rather than slow, despite the use of drugs
- Severe pain in the chest
- Welding
- Fast pulse
It should be noted that sometimes, asthma symptoms can persist for years, even when patients no longer in close contact with the agents of recurrence. Therefore, a severe asthma attack or suddenly begin to catch all surprised.
